Professional Conduct at IAEBM outlines the rules and procedures through which we uphold and enforce our Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Manner (Code of Ethics). The primary goals of our enforcement framework are to:
- Educate students, certificate holders, and employees on best practices within their professional fields.
- Maintain rigorous standards in business and management across industry, academia, and policymaking.
- Promote ethical behavior and integrity in all areas of business practice.
- Apply the Code and Standards of business and management in a fair, consistent, and effective manner.
How We Enforce the Code of Ethics
At IAEBM, all students, certificate holders, and employees are expected to fully understand and uphold the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Manner. When a potential violation is reported, the case is reviewed through a multi-level peer review process overseen by the IAEBM Academic Board or its designated subcommittees.
These bodies are responsible for guiding the investigative process, determining whether a violation has occurred, imposing appropriate sanctions, conducting disciplinary proceedings, and disclosing confirmed violations in accordance with our policies.
Disciplinary Sanctions
Violations of IAEBM’s Code of Ethics may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or revocation of a professional certificate. For students or candidates, sanctions may include suspension from, or permanent disqualification from, the academic programs in which they are enrolled.
